In recent times when e-mails and social medias have replaced the conventional system of letters and post cards, the students of RMK PATASHAALA took an effort to enliven this medium of interpersonal communication. On 27-10-2018 World postal Day was celebrated in our school. The students of classes   V – XI wrote letters to  their parents in the school campus and posted the letters to their respective address. The Principal
Mrs. Chandrika Prasad addressed the gathering and encouraged them to write letters and send cards to their loved ones as frequently as possible. Student representative explained about the working procedure of the entire postal department and explained about the various facilities they provide to their customers.

The celebration was aimed at reconnecting the future generation to the living heritage – the Indian Postal System and indeed was a great step to revive the glory of the postal department.
